About the model
Is CoreGrand a staffing agency?
No. CoreGrand operates a managed services delivery model. We act as the prime contractor: we scope, staff, manage, and quality check the engagement, then deliver one accountable result. A staffing agency places a person and bills their time; we price a deliverable and stand behind it.
Does CoreGrand recruit or hire staff for us?
No. CoreGrand does not recruit, hire, or place employees, and is not a staffing or recruiting agency. We contract for a defined outcome as prime contractor and deliver it through independent professionals who run their own businesses. You never take on an employment relationship, and neither do we.
Who are the professionals doing the work?
Verified independent contractors within CoreGrand's governance framework. They operate their own businesses, carry their own liability and E&O insurance, and are accountable for their deliverables under our structure. They are not your employees and not ours.
How is pricing structured?
Engagement specific and tied to the agreed value of the work. Scope, milestones, pricing basis, and payment schedule are defined upfront in a mutually agreed Statement of Work before delivery begins. You pay for agreed deliverables, not hours logged.
What does "independent QA" actually mean?
A dedicated QA auditor, separate from the delivery team, reviews every deliverable before it is submitted to you. The point is that the person checking the work is not the person who produced it, so rework is caught upstream rather than becoming your cost.
How quickly can work start?
Projects typically begin within five business days of an agreed scope. The variable is usually how quickly the scope can be settled, not availability of professionals.
Membership
What is the difference between Core Elite and Core Legend?
Core Elite is for clients, individuals, families, and organizations who want access to the verified provider directory and concierge matching. Core Legend is for service providers who want verified exposure, client leads, and a verification badge. One is buying access, the other is buying visibility.
Are membership fees refundable?
Membership fees are non refundable once activated, except where required by law. You may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle; cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current active period, and you keep full benefits until the end of the paid period.
Does membership guarantee a provider will be available?
No. Membership provides access to the network but does not guarantee provider availability. All service providers operate independently, and CoreGrand is not responsible for service outcomes delivered by independent providers.
Do providers pay a commission as well as membership?
Yes. CoreGrand applies a service commission on completed jobs obtained through the platform. The commission structure and payment procedures are defined in the official Service Provider Agreement, which you receive before joining.
Working with us
Do you work with individuals, or only organizations?
Both. We serve large institutions alongside small businesses, community organizations, and individuals and families, with the same standards of governance and quality.
Can you deliver on site?
We deliver on site services across Alberta, with remote delivery available globally through our network. Hybrid arrangements are common for technology engagements.
What happens if a deliverable is late or wrong?
It is our problem, not yours. CoreGrand carries accountability for a mismatched or underperforming resource, and independent QA is designed to catch issues before submission. Our target for issue resolution is 48 hours.
How do I become a provider in the network?
Create a provider account, complete your profile, and submit it for verification. We screen insurance, run background checks where the engagement requires them, review your portfolio and credentials, and confirm any required certifications before publishing your listing.
