Last updated October 5, 2026

Our approach

CoreGrand Group Inc. maintains confidentiality and data handling practices consistent with Canadian privacy law, including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information we collect

  • Account information, name, email address, phone number, organization, and city, provided when you create an account.
  • Service request details, the scope, budget range, timeline, and location you provide when submitting a request.
  • CoreGrand Essentials requests, when you use the Essentials Finder we collect your name, the help you selected, your postal code or area, how soon you need help, whether you own, rent or manage the home, your preferred contact method, and the phone, email or messaging detail you give us.
  • Provider profile information, for service providers: professional background, credentials, insurance status, skills, and service area.
  • Essentials provider verification documents, for providers who register for CoreGrand Essentials we collect business and contact details, the services you cover, your service area, and documents such as licence, insurance and references, which are stored privately.
  • Enquiry information, details submitted through our contact forms.
  • Technical information, session data required to keep you signed in securely.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and coordinate service requests.
  • To match requests with suitable independent professionals.
  • To match households with vetted local Essentials providers and to create job offers for those providers.
  • To send you messages that relate to your request or account, such as a confirmation with your reference, a match update, or a job offer to a provider.
  • To administer memberships, including renewal reminders.
  • To verify provider credentials, insurance, and eligibility.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Disclosure to service providers

Coordinating an engagement requires sharing relevant request details with the independent professionals being considered or allocated. We share what is necessary for them to assess and deliver the work, and no more.

Sharing with matched Essentials providers

When we match your Essentials request with a provider, we share the details they need to help you, such as your name, your contact detail, your area, and the service you need, and no more. Providers are vetted and agree to handle your information responsibly and only for the purpose of delivering the help you asked for.

Email communications

When you submit a request through the Essentials Finder or register as a provider, we may send you messages by email that relate directly to that request or account. Examples include a confirmation of your request with a reference, a notice that a provider has been matched, a sign in link for the provider portal, and a notice to a provider that a new job is waiting. These are service messages that follow from your own request, and we rely on the request you made and your consent as the basis for sending them, consistent with Canada's Anti Spam Legislation (CASL). You can ask us to stop sending messages that are not necessary to deliver the service by contacting us at info@coregrandgroup.ca. Some messages are required to provide the service you requested.

Data residency

Canadian data residency is available on request. Where an engagement specifies residency requirements, those requirements are recorded in the Statement of Work.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for, and to meet legal and contractual record keeping obligations. Engagement records are retained for the client protection period and any applicable statutory period thereafter.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete information we are not required to retain. Contact us at info@coregrandgroup.ca.

Security

Passwords are stored using one way cryptographic hashing. Access to client and provider records is limited to personnel who need it to coordinate delivery.
